CoH:OF not launching

If you run into either of the following error messages when launch CoH:OF, please try installing the latest C++ redistribution from Microsoft and test the issue again:

Error messages:
"Game is currently unavailable"
"Preparing to launch..." (and just stays like that)

Im having the the Game is unavailable problem so downloaded the above file. During instalation one of the loading bars didn't do anything and stops after 15 seconds, whats going wrong?

Verifying the integrity doesnt seem to help, (maybe its there to make people think they are doing something), so I'm trying this.

I try installing C++ but it does no good. Any other tips? If this keeps up, I'll have to wipe my system and go back to XP.

I'm having this same issue on Vista. Downloaded game through steam, got the c++ redistributable installed and made sure I had newest video drivers. When I try to start the game the reliccoh.exe process starts and then immediately crashes, no error message, nothing.

Same problem here. After the relic nvidia divx video it drops me to the desktop when loading about 10%. No error message, nothing. I tried to verify after deleted and reinstalled from steam backup, deleted the coh dir from my games but still crash. Any idea?
