SDK released

We're finally releasing the editing tools so the Zeno Clash community can develop their own levels and modifications for the game. We've created a Wiki entry with documentation so users can browse through the main changes and enhancements we've added to the Source Engine. The ACE Team wiki and SDK files are located at the following URL:

http://wiki.aceteam.cl

We invite users to contribute to the existing wiki information and experiment or develop custom content for the game. The official discussion area to ask about the tools or discuss about custom content will be the newly added 'editing' area at the ACE Team forums:

Zeno Clash forums - Editing

We hope everyone enjoys this content release and we look forward to new developments by the Zeno Clash community.

Will it be available via Steam, too, or only as a manual download?

Whoops... fixing now (We had the spanish version of Winrar installed and didn't notice it would make the installer in Spanish).

There's also a couple of topics missing in the Wiki (will be added soon) about how to use custom lightmaps for static props. We also need to upload the model exporter.

Another article about the sdk beeing out.
More interesting for people from Germany but i think it is good when many websites make a news about it.
That will mean more maps for us.

Just curious, by why isn't this available through steam? i mean....your SDK could possibly be updated in the future, and unless it has an automatic update, then we'll have to go to the website, and update it...and if it was available through steam, you could have an announcement about it, get more people to make custom content, aswell as possibly get some people to buy it, just for the simple fact that they know they can mod it now, i'm just not understanding the reasoning behind not providing it through steam....from my end, there are no downfalls, and many perks

More tools released!

Both the 3D Studio Max model exporter and the model compiler have been released.

Exporter & Model Compiler

I've added some documentation on how activities and events for attacks are handled for a ZC character. I've still got some more stuff to document, but if anyone is planning on creating NPC's or exporting static props with lightmaps and needs a hand, this is the place to ask.
