Day of Defeat: Source dedicated server starter guide (installation, server.cfg, motd)

Complete noob here hope folks still check this forum I'm on step 3 and get an error message... I've no idea whatsoever what I'm doing with coding btw... so I followed the first steps to the T but did nothing else :P do you need to put your DoDS files into the newly created C:\srcds file?

Anyway the line of text I'm getting is this:
C:\srcds>Checking bootstrapper version ...
Updating Installation
Cannot open blob archive file: CmultifieldBlob<mem-mapped file>:File does not exist and failed to create new file

Any ideas as to what I need to do to fix said problem would be appreicated thanks in advance

@Manynames: Have the hldsupdatetool the permissions to write a file? (e.g. under Vista). When it have the permissions, try to delet a exist .blob file in the /srcds dictory.

Thanx. i have metamod and source mod on the server. ill find a weapon plugin. I thought it would just be some text in the cfg. Agin thanx

after the last update i havent been able to get up and going I keep getting lots of errors like:

missing , particles/error_pcf
missing , particles/fire_01_pcf
missing,particles/burning_fx_pcf
unknown command "sv_rollangle"
unknown command "mp_facefronttime"
unknown command "sv_unlag_fixstuck"
error reading weapon data file for: weapon_ifn_steadycam
couldn't exec dod_anzio_cfg
what is the fix for all this?????
It says its up and going but doesn't show up on any server list


I also see overrides IP for multihomed hosts

What does it mean this cmd 'dod_anzio.cfg' not present; not executing.

Server try execute map config,
but if that file not exist, it just notify. Ignore it.
