I don't trust Golem...(Spoilers)

---SPOILERS---
Don't read below this line if you haven't finished the game.

I don't trust golem. Firstly, he speaks of apathy like a virtue. Which is okay because it is in many ways. But his comments regarding the Corwids and the idea that he will stop "all conflicts" makes him seem like some sort of taoist extremist. And then after the touching scene between Father-Mother and Ghat. Ghat tells Father-Mother he won't reveal his secret and he still considers Father-Mother his parental figure (so long as he stops stealing children). Golem callously goes against Ghat's wishes and reveals to everyone their that Father-Mother is a baby thief. Then gives off the absolutely creepy line that he "will show them a bond which is real" or something of the sort. I don't really remember the exact quote. I really feel this guy should be the big bad in the next game. He disturbs me. Like some sort of Taoist Hitler or something.
---SPOILERS---
and to the ACE team, to let you know I've always been the paranoid skeptic type so if this was unintentional no worries. I loved the game and really await the sequel even if Golem isn't the bad guy! =^-^=

Well, I can't comment on who will be the main antagonist of the next game, but I feel the same way about Golem than you

He is not telling everything but if you remember the fight with Ghat and Hunter it would maybe be a bad idea to hurt him. I mean if you punch him that would cause you to get the same damage if im not wrong.

yay! I'm not extremely paranoid... well not for that atleast.

@Backstepper and Shakur
Yeah I was thinking about that. If he turned out as a boss than it would be impossible to fight him.

Interesting. Maybe even a part of his knowledge comes from that touching. I mean he is not making the thing with father mother clear before and i think he needed to touch him and maybe find the information. The other thing could be he knows and its only the thing with touching someone thats right.

We will see in Zeno Clash 2 about that. Can't wait to play it and that way im busy for a few hours before i start waiting for Episode 3 again.

I'd be impressed if we released before Episode 3... We have an entire game to build and they should be pretty advanced by now.

My way of reacting to the fact that there is still no new information about Episode 3. Who knows maybe they did forget to work on it or they had the bring your pets to work day and a dog ate the Episode 3 beta....
Also you guys made a great game. Just wanted to say that again.

About the release of games tell me if im wrong but Zeno Clash was also set back 2 times or am i wrong there?
Not that it is something bad.

I can't remember if we sent word that we were delaying the release more than once. I'm sure we missed our internal milestones on *cough* more than one occasion...

Honestly, I think Golem did the right thing in telling Father-Mother's secret. At the very least the babies Father-Mother stole most recently should be returned to their parents, and Ghat's brothers and sisters have the right to know the the truth. I respect Ghat's decision not to tell, but I'm not sure I agree with it.

That said, there is definitely something sinister about Golem. I think he's using Ghat for his own ends, and he'd definitely make a fine antagonist in the next game.

There was a reason Golem was so well protected, I guess.

But Zeno Clash seems to be following that great story tale, where you think you're a good guy, turns out you helped a bad guy, who works for a bigger bad guy, and the bad guy in the first game turns into an ally.

This is why games like this are so good. It keeps alot ambiguous. Reminds me a bit of the old AEon Flux cartoon. Everyone had a very different opinion on everything.

though I personally find Golem to have a terrifying mindset, I'd kinda that maybe they will keep it ambiguous. Just give us the events and let us decide who is wrong and who is right.

I always thought Golem to be sort of evil. We was imprisoned for a reason. He says his creators put him in there for Ghat to find. And I was like BULL!
