Fantastic interview. I simply adore delving into Valve's writing process and the writing process for games in general. Yeah, this is where I want my life to end up!

Doesn't reading interviews like that give you such an intense craving to work at Valve?

Eh, I wouldn't want to work there, but I would enjoy making third party stuff -based- on their work. Like I would love to make a short film based on half life, and not have it be official, but to have it as some form of unofficial entertainment in the form of interpretation.

lol, well I'm actually gettin kinda serious about it. Already started a crayon-based storyboard, lol, and even took some fencing wire and shaped it into an HEV suit which is turning out pretty good. My brothers and I make a lot of little short films, and the last one we did last christmas was based on the dark knight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXN5x_H1ie8 (it's in 2 parts). My youngest brother wants to go into filming so we do little movies as a hobby.
