My bet is it probably went like this.

He gets one of those "undetectable cheats" and downloads and hacks his computer up real nice with it, goes on there for a while, doesn't see a ban, and thinks he's got it made after a period of time, and then BANG! VAC drops him like a bad habit. Too bad you'll never know which cheat got you banned.

Aw, and you asked earlier if you really had to buy your games again? Nope, not at all. In fact it would best if you didn't. So long! <waves>

Why would people pay for something they know will get them VAC banned, that makes no sense. The paid cheats are made to bypass anti-cheats used in competitions which are far more comprehensive then VAC. The undetected cheats usually just use anti-leak measures so the binaries can never be sent to Valve and therefore stopping Valve adding them to VAC's list of known cheats, another "hides" on the kernel and others use graphic drivers, which VAC has no detection for.

Why would he use more then one cheat? Pretty much all the cheats for VAC enabled games have all forms of cheating available, usually in a menu. So it is very likely he will know what got him banned.

I don't know what's happening. The only thing I know is that I would never cheat. But is it possible for people to hack accounts?? not just steam, but other games too. I have the same password in every account. I've change my password now in case.

I also checked the URL. I found my nickname there, but I've never registered me on something like that. I tried to log in too, but got wrong password.

Not much more can be said. Cheats were used on your account so now your account is permanently banned regardless of how it happened.

If you have downloaded any content in the past few months for your steam games, it is very likely that you downloaded something that compromised your account. If this is the case, you will want to reformat your computer to ensure there are no ickies left behind, and THEN you can create a new account and re-purchase your games on your new account.

If you have not downloaded anything then it would seem your account information was compromised and someone ELSE used it with cheats. This is where we would advise that you run several antispyware programs to see if you can locate and get rid of any trojans, spyware, malware or other known ickies. Once done, THEN you can create a new account and re-purchase your games on your new account.
