Indeed it is. Here's a little known fact: The US military was originally going to support the film but they demanded that the reference to Roswell be removed. Of course they didn't, as that was a huge part of the film. So the military pulled their support.

Stargate sg-1 was supported by the Air Force. And they reviewed the scripts for approval. References to the Roswell incident were only allowed to be made in jest, never serious.

Kinda weird, huh? I mean, I don't believe in aliens on Earth or anything, but it is a little suspicious. Maybe it just has something to do with not tarnishing the image of the military.

Tin Man (miniseries) had a great first 2 parts, but the ending was awful (part 3).

basically, it is "what happened after wizard of oz?"

The number of times I've watched Ace Ventura and Robin Hood: Men In Tights...

I can't believe no-one has mentioned these yet:
Evil Dead
Evil Dead II
Army Of Darkness

I will never get tired of watching these. Ever.
Army of Darkness four times in a row? Sounds like a plan.

Only one of them hasn't been mentioned yet.

Oh yeah, almost forgot Back to the Future.
Also forgot Beowulf. Just love that movie. Great way to retell the old story of Beowulf which has been neutered through the ages. (it was told in a time of no writing, and the first time it was written down was by monks, so...) Also just a great way to make a movie. You can choose an actor that has the right voice and acting skill and make him look like whatever you want. You almost forget that its all cgi because its so good.
