Updating. And updating...and updating [L4D1+2]

Hey.
I recently changed the in-game audio language in Left 4 Dead 1 to german (for testing how it sounds...as I'm german). It said something like "The game needs to be restarted" so I did that.
In the My Games window an update started (I guess for the audio files) and once it was @ 100% I started L4D..everything fine. But every time I restart steam the update for L4D begins again! It takes like.. an hour every time. It's so damn annoying.

The same issue happens when I start the L4D2 Demo. But I didnt change the language there. Again updating on steam restart -.-

I also tried it with TF2 (to update the german files .. which sound horrible btw.) and it worked very well. No updating on Steam restart. It don't really get it.
I actually deleted all game files in the steamapps folder from l4d1+2 (the .gcfs and the stuff from the "common" folder) and it also didnt work.
Starting the .exe from the L4D Folder seems to work...but thats kinda stupid.
I hope someone can help me.

Change your language in L4D1 on English))) Or wait new Steam Client Update.
