Lambda denotes decay, wavelength, eigenvalues, and a -ton of other things.

I really doubt he is Shiva. Also, IIRC Shiva is everything. He destroys, he creates, he is the universe, etc.

In all honesty, I don't think Valve, being the smart people they are, would believe in religion.

It's not believing in anything, it's just using a concept taken from a particular religion. Valve isn't a single celled organism.

heh, yeah. Although the G-Man might view an operable LH collider to be more valuable for decay than the one we have which rots only as fast as bird crap is capable of corroding it.
