I don't mean to nag but maybe the op thought I was repeating myself.
This should be added to the list:

Call of Duty, developed by Activision » Infinity Ward

I really hope Valve can/wants to fix these small errors soon. It would make the excellent Steam service even better.

lol brings a new meaning to the word "anal"

Personally, resources could be better used and it doesn't phase me if they don't fix it. For those who want it it wouldn't be too difficult to fix though.

Client:
Right-clicking Dragon Age: Origins, the second option is "Launch Dragon Age: Origin's Launcher"

There should not be an apostrophe in there.

Nice catch. Although I actually think there should be an apostrophe, it's just in the wrong place. Should read "Dragon Age: Origins' Launcher."

Upon further inspection, the context menu in general could use some standardization.

This is what I have:
launch options
Disciples II Galleans Return -> "Launch Configuration Editor"
Disciples II Rise of the Elves -> "Launch Configuration Editor"
Doom 2 -> "Launch Doom 2 with classic controls"
Dragon Age: Origins -> "Launch Dragon Age: Origin's Launcher"
Jade Empire -> "Launch Jade Empire Configuration"
Overlord -> "Configure Overlord"
Overlord II -> "Launch Overlord II Configuration Utility"
Return to Castle Wolfenstein -> "Launch Return to Castle Wolfenstein Multiplayer"
Shadowgrounds -> "Shadowgrounds Setup"
Shadowgrounds Survivor -> "Shadowgrounds Survivor Setup"
Spear of Destiny -> "Launch Mission 2: Return to Danger"*
Spear of Destiny -> "Launch Mission 3: Ultimate Challenge"*
Tomb Raider: Anniversary -> "Tomb Raider: Anniversary Setup"
TrackMania Nations Forever -> "TrackMania Nations Forever Settings"
Ultimate Doom -> "Launch Ultimate Doom with classic controls"
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition -> "Launch Adventure Editor"
external registration
Company of Heroes -> "Register your game with THQ"
Dragon Age: Origins -> "Register your game..."
Mass Effect -> "Register your game..."
Titan Quest -> "Register your game with THQ"
Titan Quest: Immortal Throne -> "Register your game with THQ"
general entries
"Install game..."
"Launch game..."
"View Support Information" (caps)
"View game CD key"
"View downloadable content"
"View player manual"**
"View update news"
"View Store Page" (caps)
"View Forum" (caps)
"Add to my favorites"
"Remove from my favorites"
"Create desktop shortcut"
"Backup game files..."
"Delete local content..."
"Properties"

*There is no option to launch Mission 1 directly from the context menu. The default "Launch game..." option brings up a choice of which mission to launch.

**There are several games that have manuals available on the game's store page, but do not have the option to view them from the client.

I know what you mean. Truthfully I don't care about most of these mistakes, but there are enough of them in the games that I bought and play that it was bugging me so I started listing them, and then I figured if I'm publishing a list on the forums I should probably try to find as many as I can, so...

Yeah, it took a while and it was kind of boring to do but like I said, I did it hopefully to make someone's job easier so they can get fixed sooner. The problem with a locked platform like Steam is you can't really fix these small things yourself, so you need to lobby the staff to do it.

Some changes have been made

I went through your list of issues in the "My Games" list and updated a number of them. Thank you for collecting all of these errors. There are a few that didn't change.

Firstly, we can't use ampersands in the system where these titles live, currently, so "Sam and Max" will continue to be "Sam and Max"

Freedom Force vs. The 3rd Reich is the spelling the developer uses on their website, so that will remain the same.

"Morrowind & Oblivion" - I added The Elder Scrolls III & IV, but kept the "Game of the Year" and "Game of the Year Edition" because there's apparently some differentiation there.

Commander Keen...I need to think about the best way to display that one.

As for the developers, I've only fixed those that were spelling or missing word mistakes. I know that Activision bought Grey Matter Studios and I think they requested that change. It was a long time ago. I think there are some old Sierra games which also display "Activision" now for the same reason.

Thanks again for posting this.

Best,

Chris

Awesome. I notice Opposing Force still has no prefix, but I assume this is deliberate.

Speaking of Developers, though, I just noticed that Mass Effect and Dragon Age are developed by "BioWare", but Jade Empire and KOTOR are developed by "Bioware".

Also, Alien Shooter 2 - Reloaded is developed by Sigma, but Alien Shooter: Vengeance is developed by Sigma Team. I'm not sure which (if either, or both) of these are correct.

To simplify things for relaxeder, I can confirm the following corrections:

Bioshock » BioShock
Dawn of War Gold » Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War
Dawn of War Gold: Winter Assault » Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Winter Assault
Dawn of War: Dark Crusade » Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Dark Crusade
Dawn of War: Soulstorm » Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Soulstorm
Doom 2 » Doom II: Hell on Earth
Flatout2 » FlatOut 2
Master Levels of Doom » Master Levels for Doom II
Penumbra Overture » Penumbra: Overture
Sam and Max 104: Abe Lincoln Must Die » Sam and Max 104: Abe Lincoln Must Die!
Sam and Max 205: What's New Beelzebub » Sam and Max 205: What's New Beelzebub?
Spear of Destiny » Wolfenstein 3D: Spear of Destiny
Splintercell: Chaos Theory » Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic » Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Ultimate Doom » The Ultimate Doom

Fallout 3, developed by Bethesda » Bethesda Softworks

Some more errors on the games list:

Heroes of Might and Magic 5 » Heroes of Might and Magic V
Heroes of Might and Magic 5 - Hammers of Fate » Heroes of Might and Magic V: Hammers of Fate
Heroes of Might and Magic 5 - Tribes of the East » Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East
Overlord - Raising Hell » Overlord: Raising Hell
