Secrete Files, Tunguska

I need help. I cannot get the slingshot to take the pebble so I can shoot out the light. This is in the Moscow Military train station.
I have went back to my last saved, but when I get to that part, I still cannot get the pebble in the slingshot. So I am stuck. Can anyone help?
