I saw Dawn of Discovery update, but no news?

I was browsing the internets the other day when Steam said DoD finished updating or downloading. But I don't see any news on it. What changed? (If anything)

I guess I was on crack. Maybe I was too hopeful and dreamt there was a patch to fix the crashing.

I noticed the same thing. It said finished downloading, but it was just Dawn of Discovery. Not Venice.
