1st might be a bug, but this isn't Sumcom1 so it might be normal.
2nd is an option they left out. |

Hi there!
I have a problem, which occurs, when i play a skirmish game, or i watch a replay. It doesn't always do it, just randomly from 2-3 games. The audio of the game freezed for a second, and then it quits to the desktop with the following system message: (It isn't English version, so i raw translate it) GameOverlayUI.exe - Application error At the command on the "0X0040d936" address refered to the "0X3f270728" memory address. At the memory area the following command can't be done:read To terminate the program click to the OK button. Until to the mission 7 of the campaign so far, it haven't occured yet. I updated the latest Nvidia driver(9600 GT GS), and Realtek driver(motherboard:AsusP5K pro) before i updated the drivers, once it crashed even that hard, that standby mode, and awake didn't work(just the reset) I already forwarded my problem to the distrbutor(CDProjekt), and the technical support wrote that it is probably a steam error.[i attached the dxdiag to them, but at this pc i haven't it] Update: dxdial - added The replays works fine now(so far, i will test it more), but after i quit it gives the same message. Anyway good job for fixing replays. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 3/9/2010, 06:14:26 Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Servicepack 3 (2600.xpsp.080413-2111) System Manufacturer: System manufacturer System Model: P5K PRO BIOS: BIOS Date: 03/18/08 15:42:20 Ver: 08.00.12 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz (2 CPUs) Memory: 2048MB RAM Page File: 474MB used, 3530MB available DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.5512 32bit Unicode Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT Chip type: GeForce 9600 GT Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0622&SUBSYS_080110B0&REV_A1 Display Memory: 512.0 MB Current Mode: 1280 x 1024 (32 bit) (75Hz) Driver Name: nv4_disp.dll Driver Version: 6.14.0011.9621 (English) DDI Version: 9 (or higher) Driver Attributes: Final Retail Driver Date/Size: 1/12/2010 05:03:33, 6359168 bytes Mini VDD: nv4_mini.sys Mini VDD Date: 1/12/2010 05:03:33, 10276768 bytes Device Identifier: {D7B71E3E-4562-11CF-9556-0A2800C2CB35} Vendor ID: 0x10DE Device ID: 0x0622 SubSys ID: 0x080110B0 Revision ID: 0x00A1 Revision ID: 0x00A1 Video Accel: ModeMPEG2_C ModeMPEG2_D ------------- Sound Devices ------------- Description: Realtek HD Audio output Default Sound Playback: Yes Default Voice Playback: Yes Hardware ID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0883&SUBSYS_1043829F& REV_1000 Manufacturer ID: 1 Product ID: 100 Type: WDM Driver Name: RtkHDAud.sys Driver Version: 5.10.0000.5859 (English) Driver Attributes: Final Retail WHQL Logo'd: Yes Date and Size: 5/22/2009 23:37:50, 5082624 bytes Other Files: Driver Provider: Realtek Semiconductor Corp. Change of exceptions in multiplayer
If I start host a game and try to change any exceptions while someone else is in the game lobby the game crashes to desktop with no error message posted on screen.(have not checked the windows error logs as of yet) I will also crash if I am in a game lobby and the host (not me) changes the exceptions. Curious if anyone else is having the same issue or if it is something with my set up.
Note: This only started happening with the fail patch a few days ago.(it happens 100% of the time. I tested it 50 times happened every time.) |

My online ping is fine, as is everyone elses, but I get stuttering and lag every few seconds. It slows the game down to the point that its unplayable. This dosent happen in skirmish or single player, and my Sim speed is 10. Any ideas or links to fixes?
