Another 3Gig Update?

I noticed this latest update looks pretty big again.
Any news on how big?

I don't have a sub, might just stop updating this game altogether if it keeps having this huge updates (which mostly include sub'd content anyway, as I hear).

I dunno how big it was, but I never download 3 gig on steam in a day, this took about an hour or 2.. so i'm sure it was less.. plus, it had 4v4 arena... NOT sub

1.1 was a 3gb update, 1.2 is 2.5. I don't get why these updates are so freaking large.

Yeah they're pretty huge ... but it's all so polished that I don't mind.

lets face it the game was shipped as a stable beta, i've not known a game to ship in this state recently in terms of un-implemented content.

personally i'd much prefer less content, but stability on launch... also.. EVERY game i have ever played on launch.. EVERY one of them has had somebody say something along the lines "omg they released it in Beta!"... so clearly theres a pattern here

Because their packing and compression techniques, like many a feature, is half-baked. These are unreasonably large patch files.
