I am not even aware what you need to link the account in the first place, mainly because I still can't log in.

http://www.justcause.com/home Second. Creat a Fourm Account. (Why No idea) http://forums.eidosgames.com/forumdisplay.php?f=267 Third. On the Home site click the My Profile Button on the upper right corner. Look for the "Manage My Connections" Button. Fourth Click the STEAM Icon at the bottem. This will bring up a Steam Login page. Do it. Next page is Asking for your Eidos Fourm login. Give it. You are Done. Emails will be sent out in this process. You will need to click the links involved. |

The stats are buggy IMO, I bought the game and forgot to link so after I noticed I linked it and have racked up ~2500 kills but on the stats:
* OVERVIEW * Total Game Time : 5 (hrs) (wrong, I have 12 hours) * Total Kills : 912 (wrong, over 2500) * Favourite Weapon : Sniper Rifle * Favourite Vehicle : Wilforce Range X * Tallest BaseJump : 70 (m) (wrong, 800m or so) Pretty useless tracking, I also got several achievements but none show up on their stat page |

Is linking your Account even safe? Your steam Username and Password are required to do so?
I really don't feel safe giving out my account info. |

Eidos has been around longer then Valve, Doubt Valve would even do such a thing if they felt their customers accounts could be at risk

I created a forum account (per your instructions). I went to the home site to look for "Manage my connections" button, there is none. Instead, I have "Login" and "Register" at the top. I attempted to log in, and was kicked back to the login page without success. (Again)... |

I shouldn't have to make an arbritrary e-mail account to register for one system. Password recovery works.
.... and of course, I figured it out. I was trying to log in with my e-mail address, and instead, the username is the login. I feel mildly stupid, but the login site didn't exactly indicate why a login failed to begin with. Joy. |
