Punkbuster kicked driver

This tread is not a question.

After several hours, i finnaly found how to fix the punkbuster-steam problem and I thought I should share this information.

If you get kicked from a punkbuster-protected server after about 2 minutes saying a thing about driver not allowed, then its because the steam community is enabled and punkbuster think its a hack.

You only have to go to View -> Settings -> In game and uncheck "enable steam community in-game" then you wont get kicked for that reason!

its a well known problem in some cod games

been known for a very very long time and many posts on the forums about it.

punkbuster spots the overlay ingame as a cheat and kicks u

no fix except to not use it

steam say its a punkbuster fault and punkbuster say its a steam fault

dont expect a fix any time soon

Tks for this information.

I personnaly think its punkbuster's fault cause they could add an exception with the steam community no matter how they do that.

By the way, there are other glitches with cod2 (on my computer) such as the microphone for multiplayer. Indeed, I cant even launch the game if my microphone is not plugged-in.
