Paragon Points?!!! Nooooooo! (Grunt's Rite)

So I'm playing as a Renegade this time(actually carrying my Renegade over from ME) and I finish Grunt's Rite loyalty quest and that Krogan stops me after killing the you-know-what. After that conversation(and picking only Renegade dialogue) I get +19 Renegade and +15 Paragon points.

Why am I getting the Paragon points? I chose the lower right response every time during Grunt's entire loyalty mission.

Any tips on replaying the mission and getting zero paragon?

Not possible.

Either skip the mission, or better still, don't bother waking Grunt in the first place.

Not that it matters, since there are several other points in the game where getting paragon points is unavoidable.

Yeah, I noticed that. But it was always 2 or 4, never anything in the double digits.

Is there anyway to "delete" all paragon points in a .ini file or something?

If you're playing renegade, maxing those out is all that matters. Having some paragon points isn't going to cause any problems.

You did a good deed by helping Grunt find a clan and a reason to fight, even if you were a jackass as you went about it.

The only way to avoid those points would be to tell him you don't have time to help him then not do the loyalty mission.

To my knowledge it isn't possible to aquire zero paragon/renegade points. So even if your aiming for either one of them, you're still going to get some points of the other one.

It was weird, I just helped Tali(did everything Renegade as well) and recieved 34 Renegade points and 0 Paragon.

I would consider that a "good deed."

If you kill the thresher maw you get 15 paragon and renegade points.

Ultimately, you're still Shepard, the savior of the galaxy. And even if you are a badass hero, you're still a hero, so it seems logical to me that some paragon points aren't avoidable.

A real badass renegade Shep would simply say: "Why the ♥♥♥♥ should I care about all that crap with the Reapers? I'll long be dead before they arrive here (and even if they arrived earlier: the war with the Protheans lasted centuries although they were attacked by surprise, so it probably won't affect me either way). Let someone else do the job. I take the Normandy and start fighting for money only!
