Changing Modes, Maps etc ingame?!

I was wondering if there are any options or ways to change game modes, maps and character in game? It gets boring playing a game and then making another game, just to change who i'm playing as. Same with changing the map and game mode.

This is something I'd love for them to patch in. Even something as simple as adding a map cycle would really free up online play. At the end of a round it automatically goes to the next map from a predetermined list the host created.

With something like that I could make a proper conversion of the entire singleplayer game to multiplayer coop. Imagine once you reach the end mission trigger it loads up the next singleplayer episode from the list, bringing everyone along for the ride. A whole new batch of coop maps with a new story can be made. All of this works now, we just need the map cycle added.

That'd be brilliant! I hope they eventually do add this in, it's all it needs now really!
