Asking for Key?
When I started to play Sacrifice, it asks for a key.
Normally when a steam game does this, it will also have a small pop-up with said key displayed. In this instance, it does not. Where can I get my key for this game? Also when I right click in Steam Games menu, I do not have a View Game CD Key option as I do with other keyed games. Any ideas? |

same issue with me. I asked steam support but all they said to do was verify my Game Cache files. I did it, but it didn't make a difference. I would really love to actually play this game.

And if you right click on it in the games list? There should be something like "View CD-Key".

As stated above, I have checked for the right click menu but the View Key is not shown.
I just completed a cache verification and reinstall of the program and same issue. For reference I am running the RC Windows 7 32bit build 7100. Baker: What OS are you running? and have you tried the right click menu as well? Last edited by Agerak: 08-22-2009 at 08:15 AM. |

looks like there is another post in the general forum about the same problem, might want to subscribe and see when/if a solution is found.

I had originally purchased this game back in 2000 and I know that CD case is still floating around. If I can find it I'll give you key if steam hasn't rectified it by then.

I found a keygen, but took several attempts to get a working key. If it is invalid for whatever reason, it won't highlight the Submit button.
If anyone else is having a problem, PM me and I'll either link generator, or try and gen one for you ![]() Hopefully this will be fixed by steam before too long. |

Try verifing the game on Steam to see if that fixes the issue. To do that, right-click on the game and choose Properties. Then on the Local files tab, press the Verify integrity of game cache button. Once that is done, try launching the game.

The way you fix it is to close steam, right click the shortcut to steam and select "Run as admin" Then try the game. |
