how to unjarate off people

so I was in megaton and I hacked into a computer and a bunch of people decided to start killing me. I couldn't get them to stop and after dieing a few times managed to kill a few and leave town. and then there were people outside of town that would run away from me. luckily I had a save I didn't know about that I could fall back to from 45 minutes previously but for future reference, how do I get people to stop trying to kill me/hate me if I do something unintentionally like that again?
