FEAR 1 has rapidly climbed into my list of best FPS games I've yet played, and I only started playing it this week.
I just love the combat, it's so well done. My only complaint is that I think the flashlight battery should last longer than it does. It runs out very quickly.

Fear was and still is a great game
EP - was good but the "path" was too easy to see and it lost the scare factor
PM - started like EP but ended more in the way of Fear.

Fear 2 didn't exist for me.

Fear 1 ranks somewhere in my top 5 FPS games. I finally picked it up today on steam.
