OSX: 10.5.8
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 Model: iMac When I first Downloaded Steam for Mac, I had a Steam Contents folder (the folder you use for Custom content and has your account profile in there, I know this because I have used Crossover Games before and played TF2 for about a year on it). But now, a couple weeks ago, I had to update Steam, and afterwards, my Steam Contents folder is gone. I have deleted Steam and Re-downloaded and Re-installed it, but its still not in Documents/Steam Contents. What do I do? |

Fear not. It was relocated to home/Library/Application Support/Steam by an updated Steam application, automatically.

It's not necessary use a mouse with 2 buttons , you just need a mouse with a working wheel
. Cuz you can press Click and Cdm for right click , obviously a lot of macers know that but i think you must add this info for newbies.

So, do you think we will get a new release this Wednesday since we did not get one last week?

Just kidding. I'm cool with waiting, as much as I'd love to see more games.

OSX ver: 10.5.8 Graphic Card: ATI Radeon HD 2400 mac model: iMac Problem: i have been using crossover(cuz it runs more smoothly)since last year but recently it became slower so i decided to delete crossover but when i reinstall it everything works right to the part where i connect to a server. it loads till retrieving server info,i waited for at least 30 mins but it never got to the sending client info part and it crashes instead.i also notice my whole mac became very slow as in juz goin to the user login takes around 5-7 mins then its usual 1 min. i tried installin steam onto my mac but it runs tf2 reallly slow(more than an hour?O.O)pls help ^^ thanks Last edited by gakorulez: 07-15-2010 at 11:25 AM. |

To be honest, Running Steam under OSX natively should be much better, then again, 10.5.8 could be the cause of most of your problems. If you can, Update to 10.6.X |
