My 1000th Post
Hey guys, the title explains itself. However I just wanted to express my feeling to the quaint little community that is the players of Xbox 360 TF2. There have Been Many good times and many bad times. I think we all can relate.
Remember Twista Fattie? hahah what a dummy. Remember the 10/10 Project? That worked out great. Remember The petition? There were alot of sigs. But there are the fun times. Remember all those tournaments we set up that never worked that we had fun planning? Remember how many times Frymonmon got banned for no reason and still helped the community. The 3 new stickies that we have! The joined laughter after mocking valve for their mistakes. Well Basically its been great getting to talk to you guys as well as to praise, hate, love, reminisce, and cry over valve and there broken but beautiful game called Team fortress 2. 999 posts ago things looked alright for the xbox version and bleak for the PS3 version, now that theory is switched. Things change and even though they werent for the better, Im glad I still got the chance to visit here. As for me, TF2 is the only game that really provides me with enough fun to continue playing more than 30 minutes, so as long as there is xbox live and at least one other person playing, I will be here, no longer hoping for updates, but having a fun time playing a fun game. Cheers to my 1000th post! And Cheers to a great group of players who aren't elitist jerks!! |

Good to see some nice sentiments after all that update bull♥♥♥♥. Though my friends and I have decided to move on from TF2, it's cool to know that this still amazing game will always have its faithful core group. I know I've had some good times with it. 54 points in one life at Dustbowl stage 3 as soldier on a serious 8 vs 8 is something I'll remember for a while.
The art style's the reason I picked it up though. I always love games like this one, Limbo, SotC, etc that push the boundaries of what gaming is and so change the games to come. Seems like that was my first serious post. Cheers to you too! |

Happy 1000th post Calvin. For some reason now I feel like I'm moving on from TF2 entirely, seeing I can't run the game on PC, and find any matches without restrictions on the console version. So I'm just waiting for my Closed Beta Key for MicroVolts. But yeah, happy 1000th post man.

Swade, we can celebrate too, we both hit 600 in this topic.
*blows kazoo* And yes, I'm surprised some of us still hang around the forum. I think it was about a year to the day that I last played TOB. Cheers. Last edited by RageBattle: 07-24-2010 at 09:51 AM. |

I'd congratulate you, but I seem to have become a cloud of misery and doom on these forums, so I don't think congratulations would be entirely appropriate.
So yeah, humbug, I guess. |

Happy 1000th post!
In all honesty, I actually wouldn't mind NOT getting any major updates on the 360 (bug fixes/airblast/misc tweaks excluded), since I play on both the PC and 360 quite a bit. I ALWAYS go back to the 360 for that one of a kind vanilla feel that the PC tends to lack. ![]() EDIT- To clarify; I would love to have everything the PC has on the 360, but I've learned to appreciate the simplicity and vanilla gameplay of the 360 version more. So, whatever. Last edited by sNip3d: 07-24-2010 at 02:56 PM. |

The times have been interesting. That petition managed to get Valve to update I guess, even though class restrictions were implemented in such a poor way. Nothing else has had any apparent effect. Well...we tried.
Cheers, Calvinnation! |
