error loading xact file error message

I get this error message when Mole Control is first loaded up and there is no sound. Anyone know how to fix this?

I am running:
Windows XP Pro SP 3
Asus G1

I have the updated sound driver from the asus website.

Sorry you are getting a problem with the game.

That error indicates that you have an older version of XACT which is part of DirectX. It should have installed with the game, but can you try downloading and installing DX from the link on this page: http://molecontrolgame.com/?page=TryAndBuy

If that doesn't resolve the problem, can you please do the following:

-Go to start menu
-Click 'run'
-Type 'dxdiag'
-Click 'ok'
-Click 'save all information'

Then send us the file it generates.
