Camera = nauseous?
I just played the tutorial and the camera made me nauseous. Something about the way it tries to auto-zoom to objects on screen... it zooms in and out too quickly and looks jittery.
Also, the way the pause menu moves made me feel seasick :/ Looks to be a fun game, but the camera may kill it for me. An option for fixed camera would be awesome. |

Okay, figured out what the problem was! I have vertical sync set to 'forced off' in my driver profile, and the game was running WAY TOO FAST. This is why I couldn't read any of the tutorial text, and the camera appeared to be jittery. If I cap my FPS at 60, then everything is silky smooth.
So, ignore my comment about being seasick and nauseous Everything is fine when running at 'normal' speed. Still, some players (for whatever reason) will have VSync off, and with framerate dependent code this is a Bad Thing. Gonna give the game a shot now that this mystery is solved!
