Play with retail?

Hi Community,
I have Joint Operations Typhoon Rising-Retail version. The AddOn is rare to become and expensiver than Steam.
Can I play Joint Ops Escaltion when I have the ground game-retail version?

No. You'd have to buy both on steam.

From retail, I paid £3 for both of them. This was over a year ago. The packs called combined arms.
