How do you run troops in Soldiers HWW2?

While in direct control mode, the soldiers move so slowly... How do you get your men to run? Is there a button you hold down? By run I mean move at the same speed they do when you double click them somewhere when not in direct control mode.

P.S. Has anyone gotten anti-aliasing or v-sync to work in this game with an Nvidia card?
