Crash on StartUp

Hi,

I just reinstalled this game to get some achievements but the game does now crash on startup.

Well, I could say reinstall/update drivers, vc++ redistributable, and direct X...
Did you verify the files in steam?
:/ I guess those are just the standard troubleshoot options...

What windows version are you using?

Same as ever before playing this game
Windows7 64-Bit Pro.
All is uptodate and checked.

Well, I`ve seen a few appcrashes in the seven forums...
Could be memory or drivers. :/ or corrupted (system) files...
But those usually persist in more than 1 program.

I guess you could try a memory test, and a system/registry check.

Is the problem only on this game?

Well, seeing as how small & simple this game is :/ I wouldn`t think it`s graphics drivers... Although you could try (un)tweaking some settings.

What about audio drivers? Are they set at high quality?
I`ve had a few gamecrashes because I set the sample rate too high...
*("too high" being anything above 24 bit/44100Hz).

:/ Apart from that... I`m running out of idea`s.

It could just as well be some program interfering.
