I'm only at the beginning too. I'm trying to raise the crate near the barrel that's on fire at the train station. I get the pieces to make the lever and when I raise it, it shows me that it only raises half way. Then I go to the back and it's down again. Pulling the lever again only shows me the crate falling, and every time after th 2nd it only shows me the crate falling. Never going back up to midway, or all the way to the top.

I've read 2 walkthrough's that tell me to do it 3 times and even doing that just shows me 1 time going up, then 2 times falling down.

You have to pull it down three times in a row.

Cut scene will show it staying up, if you did it right.

Took a couple of times for me to get it right .

man I did that... :hrmph.....

now do you pull it, watch the cutscene, pull it, watch the cut scene, pull it, watch the cut scene and it stays? Or is there some way to do it three times fast?

Pull once, cutscene shows,then 2 more times down. Should stay up after that

hmm... thanks I'll see if that works. Is there a trick to getting it twice before the cutscene?
