Can't attack with mouse

So, I've got to Jama, and I'm trying to punch/kick using the mouse. But nothing happens. I never had this problem with the disc version of Dreamfall, so it's either a Steam issue, or something in a later patch that broke it.

Any suggestions? Is anyone else even experiencing this, or am I just the lucky one?

Yes I have the same issue and I solve it by not using the mouse at all but by using the keyboard key selected.For example mine uses the letter k for heavy attack and l for light attack When I press this buttons it works!
