"Set a leaderboard score of at least 85,370 for 'Classic - Small Wonder' in Droplitz"
Is "Small Wonder" a Level in the Classic Mode? Or can I just get the Score in any Level to get the objective? I`m frustrated -.- EDIT: Okay, any Level... Got it

It's also a question of luck. I've been trying since yesterday, managed to get the score a couple of hours ago.

Managed it on the third try. About 45K, 75k then 100k in scores. Not a bad game once I got into it. Certainly not the worse game in the treasure hunt so far imo. Fortunately that one only required playing the demo.

Meh, I can't get this. After about round 6 the drops start coming into fast for me. Also I don't know if I'm maximizing the multipliers correctly.
Very frustrating... |

I was gonna give up but then I said okay one last try after watching that guide for it...
I think the tip that making a path as soon as you get onto a new board keeps your multiplier going, and tips on certain shapes in certain locations always have to be in a certain direction helped. 120k woot

First try, a whole 3k. Second try after reading this thread and not speeding it up, 120K.

General tips for ya - Sorry you're finding the game a bit tough, it's not really a casual game tho, man up - you'll get there
![]() 1) It is often easier to start from the bottom and work your way up. 2) Make sure to line up the dials at the top and bottom first to allow as much time as possible before the Droplitz hit a dead end. 3) If you have completed every possible path you can use the Fast Forward ability to speed up the Bonus Droplitz and get to the next round and i posted some scoring tips in the other thread: 1) Causing a path to be created as the new dials fall into place makes your Score Multiplier carry over to the next round and can lead to high scores. When this happens it is known as a Chain Reaction. You can make Chain Reactions easier to set up by hanging on to your U-Dials. 2) Zen dials are worth hanging on to as they are worth more depending on how many you use at once. If you use only one Zen dial you will gain 500 points, if you use two at once you will gain 1,000 each, while using three at once will make them worth 1,500 each. This combined with your Score Multiplier can make a enormous difference to your final score. 3) Whilst Fast Forwarding Bonus Droplitz can help you to reach the next round quickly it can also lead to lower scores as you miss out on the points you might have gained from additional Droplitz that would have fallen into the board and been collected. When playing for High Scores it is recommended that you only use Fast Forward when you truly NEED to get to the next round quickly; For example: if you have only one path and cannot create any more. |

I have to say that I've played far more droplitz then I expected that I would after my first 20 minutes with the game.
I'm sitting at about four hours of gameplay now, and I understand the basics of the game. But I still find it more then a little vexing at times. The biggest reason I'm playing it is my pride doesn't want to take the hit on not being able to unlock all the gameplay modes. I haven't, getting stuck on the Zen mode and not being able to get a high enough score to unlock the next stage. But I do have to say thanks to steam I have given this game another go in order to get the treasure hunt objective. And not just for myself, but I was enlisted to help out a friend who was unwilling to give droplitz more time. I personally don't like the 'man up' comment about having to tough out a game to get good at it. My pride again takes a hit and makes me defensive about my inablility to master what is usually just a small mini game inside better games But I think part of the reason I'm finding it challenging is that in order to make it stand alone as it's own game is the heightened difficulty level. If it was easy I'd be more annoyed at it. |
