Seriously, what is up with this jump?
Sometimes it responds every single time, other times there is a delay for like half a second and in this game that usually means death.
In my case, that means 120 deaths (I have a ticker for it.) so 120 times the controls delayed on me. Anyone else having problems with this? ALSO, REALLY disappointed with Jill. Idk why I was expecting so much of her, but I loved mighty bomb jack and I was really hoping she'd control like that. Her float is pretty much heavy as hell. |

I've had the jump button spas out on me every now and then. First time since the classic Mario games that I've used "It didn't jump!" as a frequent excuse. =P
By the way, are you using a Keyboard of Gamepad? I was also expecting to have a higher jump as Jill, but the float is definitely helpful for getting bandages. She's my go-to gal for that. Especially when navigating distant or close-to-saw Bandages. |

I get the same problem with my keyboard, but I think that's because I don't fully release it sometimes.
I would have liked it if Jill's just would always go it's max height until you tap jump again, like in Might Jill-Off. |

Sounds like your computer might be lagging in some fashion. Or you might have one of those keyboards that doesn't like having more than two buttons pressed at a time.

The only issue I've had with jumping where it didn't feel like my fault was, I think, in one of Hell's dark world levels. There's a small overhang that you need to wall jump off to get over and through some saw blades. For some reason half the time Meat Boy will just go straight up into the blades instead off jumping away from the wall like he should.

i got that kind of problem too, might try it on low-res tomorrow to see if that works. it's not THAT bad but it still goes on my nerves.

The controls are unresponsive and delayed for me even on modest resolutions, but 800x600 improves the frame rate to the point that it's playable.
I ignorantly assumed this was a laptop friendly game. - Core 2 Duo 2.2 - 4 GB RAM - GMA 4500HD |

If you're experiencing lagg during the game it's most likely due to your computer and the resolution you're running it at. Personally, I have to play it at 800x600 in windowed mode in order to avoid any lagg. It's annoying at first but you get used to it.
There's also an option to put it to low-resolution. Personally I just reduce the resolution size, rather than put it to low-res because at low-res everything looks really bad to be honest, so I would rather have things small than ugly I suppose. Typing "-lowdetail" in launch options helps a great deal. "-meddetail" is also an option.

holy balls 800x600 fixed it completely!
Jill feels viable now holy cow! ....machinarium robot is still a pile of butt though. |

I think all those posts whining about controls should actually be whining about lag.
