Source DS Anomaly

We have a CS 1.6 server and a CS: Source server that run on the same machine, and usually without any problems with lag or CPU issues. The CS 1.6 server is running very well, without a single issue while the CS: Source server mysteriously timesout to external HLSW and Steam requests. For I am not sure what is going on, but it's random. Sometimes the server will stay up, just fine and stay that way. I've even resulted to running it manually to check if it was throwing an error... Nothing.

I know it isn't the firewall, because it does work occassionally, and it's not SP2 because it's not installed.

Honestly, I do not know what could be wrong... and everything is kept up to date.

Any ideas?

[Edit] Restarting the Fire Daemon service also does not resolve the issue.

Actually, I went ahead and reinstalled everything manually and its back to normal...

Not sure what happened.

For awhile, the hostport cvar wasn't working, but finally after much hack and slash of the server.cfg and a batch file, it's working correctly.
