I love this game, but I can't play more then a few minutes at a time...

I love this game and I have fun. I enjoy the Wave modes where you fight triangles and circles that just kind of float around. I'm TERRIBLE at any other part of the game though, and I find myself quitting in frustration after a few minutes of fighting Jester or Pandora, or anyone that isn't the stupid squares and circles. As much as I enjoy the game, I find myself quiting after about thirty minutes or so, simply because I become so frustrated.

I get irritated when the powerup I'm after runs to my left or right and immeadiately into the clutches of my enemy, I get irritated when the enemy clearly flies into my swarm of drones and doesn't lose a level, and I get hit by one and go down a level, and especially when I press the action button and suddenly lose a level.

Can someone tell me what I need to do in order to get better? I'd love some strategies for fighting Jester, at least. I know he's agressive and I'm supposed to use that against him, but I've tried being defensive and also countering with my own offense and the only time he takes a hit at all is when he's about five inches from me and I press nothing. Any help would be appriciated here, as I enjoy the game but get irritated and leave after a few minutes.

Ok Vohn_exel, here you go:

- Evading single drones is sometimes necessary, but this should be the exception. Always try to keep inside of your Swarm to be safe, dont move at maximum speed if the drones can't keep up. With some experience, you can use your ability to make them keep up with you, they are faster while you use it. Keep in mind that you are the entire swarm - you could say the core that you move is just where you are vulnerable.

- Jester is very agressive. This means he will spread out his drones a lot. As long as you stay safe, just concentrate on killing his inactive drones. You can get numerical advantage by collecting more drone bonuses or by killing off your enemies inactive drones. You don't lose your own drone if the other drone is inactive.

- The A.I.s are very good at evading. You wont get a lucky shot very often so you have to deliver a targeted strike with a good amount of drones. For that you need to know what you are doing with your abilities.

- There are quite some tricks you can do with your abilities, so I wont kill the fun and just list them. But to give you a basic idea: Most of the time the quality of your strike is determined before you even hit attack. You need to bring the drones in the position where you need them to be. Try the sandbox to figure out some moves. Most of the time you'd want to concentrate the drones and then attack with a single ball. For example, with shoot the drones go in the direction where they are facing when you hit attack. So to shoot in a single direction, you would bring them all behind you, position yourself between the ball and the target, wait a little until the drones have turned in your direction and then hit attack. Most of these moves will make you vulnerable, so be careful!

Hope this was helpful!

With Jester just run around till you have more drones then him. Then follow him and push him into a corner. It is also best if you have a high level so your drones move fast. Once he is in the corner you just slowly moving without allowing him to escape he can dodge anyting but he cannot dodge a wall of swarm with no way through.

Thanks guys! I really appriciate it! I never knew the thing about inactive drones not killing your active ones. That will definitely be a big help!

Thats a good idea with the shoot ability. What I had been doing is holding them in position around me, and using shoot to create basically a shotgun blast, but I never thought about making them all follow me at once like that. Thanks, I'll give that a try!
