I'm in the Highscore!! + Techniques

First time I played the game I didn't even realize for 3 tries that I could move the ship. Since then addiction has caught me and now I am in the Survival and extended Highscores. (JJ - and some other name you will figure out easily)

Main Technique is to remember in which levels you get a threeshot or an invincible. And to keep that as loong as possible. Second technique - get out of the middle as fast as possible. At least in Extended or Arcade mode. Then Circle the screen and shoot towards the middle. This technique won't work on all enemies. Especially with the shooters that roll on the sides you gotta be very skilly to shoot them of the wall and pass them during the circling phase.

In Survival - just start moving slightly once they get to close. That should be at around 2000 points or so.

Otherwise - a lot of it is luck. And I was so glad to have continue available to finish the arcade.

Oh and if CK is reading this - please make the next game with full HD!
Though you consider this game old - I loove it. That is as soon as I got over the druggy graphics

Probably won't be adding HD to this game, as it's already in Bullet Candy Perfect!

Do you suggest using the gamepad or keyboard and mouse?
I am using keyboard and mouse which is perfect for moving the aim but is almost useless (for me) for directing the ship when a massive amount of fire is at me.

Thanks for your answer, I will try using a gamepad now and see if I become better.
My skills aren't that great at the moment compared to some videos about this game I've watched on youtube.
I personally am at level 25 arcade and having fun.
As I already said in another forum, these indie games are for me the real strength of Steam.

NOW WE ARE TALKING!

Tried with gamepad and, after a little time to get used to the new thing, I got so much better than before.
I passed the checkpoint and am now at level 30.

Just beaten the game arcade mode normal difficulty - level 50
