Achievements bug?

Why are my achievements appearing only after i quit the game? 2 or 3 appear right after i exit the application It's kind of annoying not to see them in-game, any way to fix this?

Do you have the in-game Steam community switched on? Check under Steam Settings -> In-Game.

Yes, the steam community overlay is active... Thing is, achievements on other games work fine and they pop up correctly everytime i get them, but on puzzle dimension they appear all at once when i quit the game. Not that it affects by any means the game at all, but it's kinda weird and annoying sometimes

Hmm, when I first played this when it was released, they popped up fine, no problems, and I got halfway through the bends chapter before I got caught up with other things.

I just loaded it up again today, and I have the same issue, the achievements that I earned today popped up after it closed. I also have steam overlay enabled, and it works from within the game.

Hi all,

Just curious, do you have a single or dual core cpus? As all communications to Steam have been put onto a separate thread within the game it might be possible it gets starved on single core cpus and thus not able to complete the achievement request until the game terminates.
Any way it will be really helpful information...

Many thanks and Merry Christmas,

I have a dual core PC (E6600 Underclocked to 2.15Ghz, so I can use a silent fan), and It never goes about about 25% usage when i'm playing a level or in a menu. It jumps to 99% for a few seconds after i complete a level or start/restart a level.

Same problem, and I have 8 logical cores... so no core shortage here.
