TDU2 retail activation

Hey guys, i was wondering, when tdu2 comes out will retail players be able to activate their game over steam? I was thinking it would be a good thing if the developers decide to make dlc's for it.
What do you thnik?

Yeah, I'd like to know this too. Getting the game from Amazon is definitely worth it, but if they're going to put some BS like SecuROM on it because they can't use Steam then I'll just cancel my order.

I have bought the retail version today and cannot activate it through Steam. says my product key is invalid
