Potential workaround

This is what worked for me:
- I go to Steam folder where the game is installed:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\lionheart - king's crusade
- Double click on LionHeart, which is executable that starts the game directly.

This seems to bypass steam launcher, and it seems to make the game more stable. But not completely stable. Every once in a while (maybe 1 out of 5 times) the games crashes going into or out of the battle.

Going into the battle is not a problem, because if it crashes, you can have the game saved.

Leaving a battle is a slightly bigger problem, because if it crashes, you have to re-fight the battle. It happens maybe 1 out of 10 times leaving battle to me.

I kind of like this game. I am up to the city of Baghdad...
