During the last square-week, there was one day with Tomb Raider and TLR simultaneously, so there's still hope.

sup
How come this one is so expensive though ?
I dont remember it ever selling that well, but the selection of TBRPGs on the pc is somewhat lacking so Im always looking for a deal. But 40 bucks is NOT a deal haha |

For me, it was well-spent money for this game -- I think I had paid more than 40.

Hoping this hits the sale on the last day. That and Tomb Raider GOL. But still, surprised how high they've kept TLR.

Tomorrow is the last chance, but I'm guessing it will be Tomb Raider tomorrow, so no dice on this one.
I actually have this game for Xbox360, but I'd rather play this on pc. |

Square doesn't seem to care very much about TLR; I guess it just didn't sell very well. In both cases, it's a tremendous shame, as this is an RPG that's actually got an extreme amount of depth and customizability.
People frequently (and often rightly) accuse Square of making games that have gorgeous visuals/presentation and little else (why hello there, Final Fantasy XIII). Then they finally make a game like The Last Remnant, which actually has the hardcore mechanics, gameplay and complexity to match the awesome visuals, and it gets largely ignored. Oh well, at least there's Final Fantasy XIII-2 to look forward to, right? *sigh* |

I know I was waiting for a discount on the game every day during the Square Enix sale. Because if they can sell batman for 7 bucks, why not Last Remnant? I waited... and waited... but to no avail. I was tempted to buy it today again, but stoped myself when I realized it could go on sale still. The thing I hate MOST of all is when I buy something, and it shortly goes on sale after. Nothing in the world worse then that... ok there are, but in terms of gamers, thats really nasty.

Like not playing a game at all, maybe? If you buy the game for $40 and it goes on sale the next week for $2, does it really matter? As long as you get $40 worth of enjoyment out of the game then you have gotten your money's worth. If you've got some reason to think the game will go on sale soon then sure, wait a little, but I don't see any signs. As Dr. Who once said, a little patience goes a long way but too much patience goes absolutely nowhere. |
