unsupported backbuffer format - please try 32 bpp mode

Thats the error i get when trying to play. I get through the two Rockstar logos and even the movie but thats when this error appears and the game exits. Anyone else get this?

FYI
Running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

I've played the game before but now this problem has occurred.

Well, this is how I fixed it myself: Go into the C:\Local Disk\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\midnight club 2 and double click the windows batch file named "defaults", it'll revert your display settings back to default so it can start up, then you're able to change them again.
