I don't think people who use facebook HEAPS even play games, so it would be a waste of time

No!!!!!! I hate this of facebook! All programs that have integrated Facebook in recent months, they all suck! Skype was great, but with the integration of Facebook has become a mess, same thing for Windows Live Messenger.

I would like integration of a facebook-connect like structure, one that would post to your facebook when you boot up a new game (this is useful, so that idiots don't try to message you and stuff while you're in game) and maybe and "invite friends via facebook" which would bring up your friends list to send invites, and if you want to invite an offline friend, it would post a "This user wants to play &Game& with you on Steam" to their facebook wall.

However, that would be the extent of it. Use the facebook connection to bring people to steam, not to bring steam to facebook.

Not to mention that Facebook is likely to go the way of Myspace, and countless other social networks. Something new will come along that blows Facebook away, and then where will we all be left
Ok, that's true

You can invite friends who are on Steam by connecting with Facebook.
