CODWAW 1.5-1.6 Kernel Inpage Error

I just reinstalled my CoDWaW CD and had to update from 1.1-1.7. All the patches worked until I got to 1.5-1.6. Every time I try to install the patch it gets to the very end of the InstallShield Wizard where it begins to update everything e.g. "settingsconfig.exe" and it runs through a whole bunch of things. Now instead of completing, the box would become blank. After a good three minutes my computer would freeze for another five minutes, and finally I get this blue error screen "Kernel Inpage Error" and my computer would crash. I've never had this problem before nor have I had this problem again since the first time. Except when I try to install the patch. I've read on the Google that it could be the result of a virus, but I've already ran all kinds of anti-virus tests and came up with nothing. Anyone help?

Also, I've ran my computers Startup Repair Tool as well as a Memory Error Repair system just for the hell of it. Nothing.
