Mouse freeze

For some reason the mouse freezes. I can't look around, and the only way to move is using the Keyboard, but doesn't do me any good without being able to look around with the mouse.

Here is my specs:

AMD Phenom II X2 Processor 3.2GHz, Asus M2N68 AM Plus motherboard, Geforce 9800 GT 1024MB PCI Express, 2GB DDR2 Memory, 17" TFT LCD Color Monitor, 1 TB hard drive, DVD R/RW

I experienced something similar but restarted the game and works.

I found 1.4 Patch for Prey, so I installed that, and now my mouse doesn't freeze. For some reason Steam doesn't have the most current patch out for Prey.
