Computer Characters...

I just bought this and am having trouble getting the computer 2nd player to cooperate. It almost seems like you have to have a second player to help you sometimes because the computer wont.

EX. In the first level of episode 1: When you have to stack those block/crate/things, I know you have to stand on the final one while player 2 uses his force abilities to move you to the top of the stack. My problem is that my computer 2nd player is completely oblivious to anything accept enemies and things you MUST do to finish the level. I'm just wondering how you get your comp. to cooperate.
