Both my friend and I started the game and then had to unplug our racing wheels. I have a logitech G27 he has a fanatec GT3 and basically as soon as you touched any controls on it, the game decided to use that with no way to disable the controller without unplugging it.

Had to hold my brake pedal down half way to keep the view from looking strait down.. It was weird.

PLEASE let us disable controllers.

Playing coop, Area 2, level 6. I'm hosting. My buddy gets the error that his map differs from the server's.

We haven't modified our games at all. I have a DVD installation (though it installs into my Steam installation). He downloaded through Steam.
We've both run validation on game files.
His actually *DID* update one file, but he still gets disconnected from me due to that error.

It would be very nice if Valve added a simple option to change the Steam account you log in to when starting Portal 2 on the PS3. Now I'm stuck waiting for Steam support to link my accounts correctly before I can get my Steam achievements, Steam friends list, and free PC copy.

I'm having an issue where the portal gun fires repeatedly and doesn't stop. In effect I lose control over it. This happened the first time right after I picked up the portal gun initially and it also began randomly in the middle of the next level.

like many of the other users, i have a fairly new computer with an excellent graphics card (radeon HD 5450) but could not play Portal 2 until tonight.

For any users with Windows 7 try updating to the new SERVICE PACK 1. it's a major system update but it fixed the problem for me. I also went through the optional windows update that was available for ATI display. Either one of these could be the case, doing both to be sure is a good idea.

I'm sorry, but i have no idea if this will fix the problem on anything other than Windows 7 64-bit, though i assume 32-bit would have a similar solution.

I have the same problem: used sv_cheats and noclip to skip a puzzle, Portal 2 hasn't given me achievements since.

I can't reach the title screen. This error appears immediately beforehand and crashes me to desktop!
