Very Interesting MP Console Commands - Competitive MP?
I just checked the Portal 2 console commands. It's just too fun playing around with all the variables.
I've stumbled upon two variables which seem very... interesting. Quote:

The portal push could be a cool addition to a mod, such as a deathmatch map or something.

At one point they planned to have some racing thing in the game, but it turned out to be really boring and awful so they killed it. I'm sure these are the remnants of that system.

I like this. Imagine diving through some portals and blasting someone in the face with your portal, then jumping back through your portals and hitting them in the back less than a second later.
Or placing a portal underneath someone with the exit right in front of you or right in front of a spike wall. Go ahead Valve. I'm interested. |

A bunch of Aperture bots styled like Atlas and P-Body vs test subject humans like Chell and Ratman?
That'd be a neat concept for deathmatch/racing. |

Sped-up high energy pellets bouncing everywhere. Create portals to bounce the pellets into your foes.
Also, crushing opponents with cubes. |

Maybe if they had propulsion/repulsion gel on the maps as well to hinder people or give them advantages. maybe you get turrets that you can place. and crushers you can activate!
