Great game

Really, we need more like it. It takes all of 5-10 min to play, but it was well worth it. I did some follow up reading as well, such a sad interesting story. He almost seems like Iran's FDR.

Really changed my perspective on Britain and America, and maybe how things might have been different today.

Agreed, great little game. I already knew about these events but loved the way they showed them and I wish more people told their country's moments in history this way. Each country has moments and people like Dr. Mosaddegh that deserve to be remembered today and shown to the rest of world so there's plenty of unused material for future documentary games like this one.
My compliments to Peter Brinson and Kurosh ValaNejad.

It's not a game.

It might have a great message to tell, but it's not a game.

That's a good opinion, not fact, you have there.

I also agree that it's not really a game. The reason The Cat and the Coup is being distributed on Steam, for free, is because it has an important message to tell, and Steam is a great outlet for this message to get a lot of publicity for people who normally wouldn't be exposed to this kind of material. For that I applaud Steam for distributing the "game" and the developers for making it possible.

It isn't a message. It's propaganda.

It's like saying anything by michael moore is an actual documentary.
