xbox 360 controller no response

Hey guys, need some help. I have an alienware m17x rv2 with dual ati 5870 in crossfire core i7 Q820 @1.73ghz and 8 gb ram while using win 7 64bit home premium. my controller drivers are up to date and it works so far with every other title I own.

any thoughts, this and red faction guerilla are the only two titles I have that support 360 controller but don't respond to them. all of my other games do. help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for posting... probably going to have to pass on this deal if it has no native 360 pad support.
