Display Error: Screen Goes Black on Start

When I start up Bit.Trip Runner, my screen goes all black (as if the monitor has shut off). I can still hear the game sounds/music.

Things to note:
-The game worked yesterday no problem
-Other games still run fine
-I've tried reinstalling

I'm thinking it may be an in-game resolution issue. How would I changed that without booting up the game?

The resolution of the game is too high for your screen. You might try pressing ALT+ENTER to go into windowed mode, so you can change the resolution to what you need.

Another way is to go into your AppData\Local\BIT.TRIP RUNNER folder, open up the game.cfg file and change the resolution manually.
