Mid 20s. The point really is to dash for that exit arrow, right? Sometimes they're really close to where you enter, so a bunch of levels sometimes fly by.

I just bought the game yesterday, initially hated it and wanted a refund; then I watched a video and saw people shooting more than one shot at a time and figured out how power ups work. That changed things.

I saw level 10 last night, it was very exciting.

Is there any reason to shoot all the enemies in a 'level'? Do you gain anything from that? I kill everything before leaving. Or just grab an exit when you see it? And why are the arrows sometimes purple or orangey?

That just means you are "going into yourself". Gives you a chance to re-coup. But get a few power ups then head for the arrow.

30 today, but saved on 29. 28 took me quite awhile. I'm still not clear on the basic mechanic of entering an enemy to "de- power" them. I know how to enter them, and of course I can collect their power ups, but is that enough? Would I be better off entering the power ups inside the enemy, to somehow better diminish their effectiveness?

It took me a bit to figure this out. Finally understood after I got 3,3 and 4 hearts then exited the enemy and ended up with an enemy that took 11 hits to kill... the powerups you pick up inside the enemy powers up that enemy when you exit it (unlike the "stage" powerups that become yours when you exit the stage). It looks like "AI types" count as a powerup for the enemy too, so if you pick up powerups in a guy chasing you, he'll forget how to chase you maybe?

Derfk-- thanks for that. Makes sense to me... in a nutshell, then, when entering an enemy to depower it, find the weakest power ups you can find, grab those, and exit.

Thank you for that. Community instructions should be pinned, so people don't immediately hate this game... it's not clear how you're supposed to make them weaker and I'd actually thought you were either a) supposed to pick up the items you didn't want the enemy to have, so I was cruising around picking up everything. or b) kill all the enemies inside the enemy.

I am at 75, but I have a ton of permanent flags so far? It's weird. If you see a sideways green M on a purple BG, it's mine. Looks a bit like Rohan Kishibe's headband in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
